Running Out of Time is a five-minute silent film that alternates between black-and-white and color, shot in the Panasonic 24p High Definition film process. Running Out of Time tells the story of a hard-working college girl (Brooke Larson) who, while walking to class, has her term paper stolen by another student in the class (Ryan McElveen) who intends on turning in the paper as his. A third student (Douglas Shapiro) standing nearby witnesses the event and, after a brief moment where he nearly thinks otherwise, he decides to pursue the dishonest student and return the stolen term paper to its rightful owner. Running Out of Time is a story of honor, perseverance, and justice served.
