As of 11:00pm this evening, 12 December 2007, principal photography on The Receipt is completed. Six scenes along with B-Roll, pick-up shots, and ADR remain to be completed along with post-production. Production has gone into a hiatus until 2 January 2008 when initial post-production will commense. Full photography on The Receipt will be completed in mid-February 2008 and post-production by mid-March 2008.
Today marks the launch of the new official website for The Receipt, www.thereceiptmovie.com, featuring cast and crew biographies, production stills, a plot synopsis and film description, and a director's blog.
Commencing with a gruelling two-day, 12-hour series of shoots that started at 12:00 noon on September 29, 2007, The Receipt has now progressed to principal photography. Three months of shooting now lie ahead for the cast and crew of the film before production wraps in mid-December 2007.
After today's initial production meeting, the principal casting selections for The Receipt were made officially public. The initial schedule was compiled and preparations are now underway for the commencement of shooting in less than one week. The official film website is also under construction.
