RiverBend Films is proud to announce the release this morning of the Full Theatrical Trailer of The Receipt, available for download as Adobe Flash video in both standard definition and high definition formats. The full trailer runs three minutes in length.
As of 11:00pm this evening, Monday 21 January 2008, all A-Roll photography on The Receipt has officially wrapped and the film went into full post-production with approximately 98% of photography completed and about 35% of the film already cut. The post-production staff will be laboring over the sound and video footage over the next two months in order to complete the film.
The World Premiere of "The Receipt," starring U.Va. Drama students Sarah-Elizabeth Edwards, Mauri Epstein, and Matthew Marcus, will take place on Wednesday April 9th at 8:00pm in Newcomb Hall Theatre on the grounds of the University of Virginia. "The Receipt" tells the stories of two college seniors, the shy Evie and the gregarious Norah, and how their lives are forever affected by one moment of Norah's mischief. "The Receipt" is the longest and most ambitious student film ever produced at the University of Virginia to-date and involved a collaborate effort between studio RiverBend Films, the U.Va. FilmMakers' Society, the Media Studies Department, and the Department of Drama.
